Football or Rugby
The football season is approaching. The time when men watch other men parade around on the football field in tight pants, shoulder pads and black paint on their eyes. The beer is cold, the television is big and the surround sound is on. This is the Sunday tradition in my family. Football is considered the manliest of all sports. I have come to discover a sport much more “manly” if “manly” means tough and rugged. Rugby players wear hardly any padding, no helmets and shorts for their uniform. The style of the sport is more aggressive and this sport is loved in European countries.
