The do make skylights that open
The reasons we hire architects to design buildings is so that they can figure out how to do the things we want in our building. I wanted to install skylights but was told that since the humidity got so high on our production line that skylights would be impractical. I still wanted them and wanted a workable solution to the humidity issue. The problem was solved by installing dome skylights that actually open to the outside world on nice days. When the humidity starts to build we just open the skylights and allow things to cool off. I certainly liked the professional solution to my wants.
