What is Invasive Hip Replacement?

Invasive hip replacement is the new procedure now replacing the traditional hip replacement. Doctors in the medical field are always looking for newer ways to minimize healing time and effort for the patient, and thus the traditional surgery is now being replaced by invasive hip replacement.

Instead of cutting around 8 inches of muscle to expose the hip, doctors now perform the operation by making two smaller cuts away from the hip and work their way guided by x-rays. This operation is now employed by many doctors, though it is not spread since it requires special expertise. Not to mention it is requires facilities with better technology.
