The most Common Place for Gout is in the Big Toe

Whatever some people say about gout there is one thing that is true about it, that it really hurts. The big toe is the most common place where you can locate gout.  So therefore when someone gets gout in that area then it is pretty obvious that it is really gout. But gout can and does affect many other joints and often gets initially misdiagnosed as something else. In the foot, gout can also affect the midfoot or rearfoot.
