Exercises for belly fat

What are the different exercises for belly fat?  Most people automatically think of situps and crunches, but if you have a lot of belly fat, you should not even consider these exercisees, at least right now.  Why would I say that?  Because ab exercises do not get rid of the fat around your stomach.  Those exercises are only good for showing your ab muscles, but no one is going to see them if you have a lot of fat covering them up.  Instead, focus on your diet, cardio and weight training.  Eating the right foods will go a long way towards achieving your goal
