Does Proactiv Really Work?
If you watch alot of tv, then I’m sure you’ve seen those commercials with celebrities such as Jessica Simpson promoting an acne treatment called Proactiv. This facial treatment uses a 3-step approach that consists of a facial wash, anti bacteria agent, and a revitalizing toner. They offer this system for about 20 bucks, but does Proactiv really work? In my opinion, this product should not be used with people with sensitive skin. Benzoyl peroxide, proactiv’s main ingredient, has been know to cause skin irritation and drying of the skin. It may be worth trying, but I think there are more effective acne treatment options available.
