A Blood Alcohol Testing Program Makes One Employee Anxious
Jason worked for a fairly large aluminum fabricating company that will be starting an alcohol testing program in the next two to four weeks. As soon as he heard the news about the testing policy Jason became very anxious. It was bad enough that the company would be employing a random testing protocol but what made things worse was the fact that top management decided to pay top dollar and utilize a blood alcohol testing methodology. Why was Jason so nervous about the new testing program? Simply this. He is a heavy drinker who gets an alcohol “high” at least four times every week. With the accuracy of blood alcohol tests, Jason is more than a little concerned that he will fail such a test and potentially lose his job.
