Correct. Having lived rural over the past 25 years, we will be living rural for the rest of my life (albeit on a lake when we retire). With our 5 college degrees between us, we have had the option of working and living where we wanted not a choice available to many. I’ll grant you health care is an issue and the local doctors send serious cases to the city, but I don’t miss city living at all. As to the kids, the self reliance of living in the country where you make do or do without was worth it.

India will never be able to win over Kashmiri hearts especially after it has killed more than 120,000 Kashmiris(women,children and mostly civilian men). All that the Kashmiris are fighting for is a true democratic right to self determination. IF India could grant that in Junagadh, whats stopping it from enacting the same neutral election(under UN supervision) in Kashmir?. All the pro-Indian politicians of today in Kashmir run for office by distancing themselves from the issue of Kashmir. Tonight the President plans to give a speech in which he will tell us how he’s going to create jobs and reduce unemployment. But his Labor department, on the very same day, whacks the companies that actually could – and do – hire unemployed people to do real work. Not only does it whack them, but it whacks them for hiring people! Conclusion: we have both – an administration where the left hand doesn’t know what the really left hand is doing and a President with less common sense than an average lizard. Folks, this is not good. Not good at all.
