Early Vancouver Immigrants - The Ferguson Brothers

In 1913, Jimmy, Vic and Henry Ferguson left Ireland to come to Canada. After travelling across the ocean and across Canada, they eventually arrived in the west coast small city of Vancouver. Determined to make it in their new home. They started a freight transfer business with just a Ford flat deck truck with wood slats for sides and a canvas roof. Their operations grew during the First World War, the Great Depression, and the Second World War, and eventually transformed into one of the oldest and most reputable Vancouver moving companies. Today, Fergusion Movers is a member of Mayflowers and one of the oldest names in the moving business.
