Volvo
Volvo is a strange kind of brand really when you think about it. I was reading this article on Volvo the other day and discovered that it is in fact Sweden’s most famous brand, that puts it ahead of IKEA and Saab. What’s interesting about Volvo in the UK is the image that it has and the kind of people who tend to buy Volvos. In the UK the Volvo is regarded as a very dependable, very safe car but also quite dull. The dependable and safe side of things are attributes which Volvo has worked long and hard to establish. The dullness associated with Volvo though is largely the result of criticism buy Mr Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear fame.
