Selling Energy Back to the Power Company
We put in a solar power energy system to help power our home, and sometimes we even produce more energy than we need for ourselves. We looked into grid tie inverters when we set up our system, so now we can sell the extra energy back to the power company to help cover the cost of our energy consumption during those times there isn’t enough sun to produce enough of our own energy. We really are saving a lot of money with this system, as well as doing something to help the environment. Even though it cost a bit to install, we are glad we did it.
